Future Housing
A two day conference in Ljubljana was a great opportunity to discuss and share ideas how to develop new models of affordable housing. Collective Housing: New Initiatives project is a rethinking of the collective by international experts from France, Germany, Austria, Italy and Slovenia confronting their knowledge with the current situation regarding collective housing in Slovenia.
Two days event in Ljubljana at the City Museum, Faculty of Architecture and Museum of Architecture and Design with experts from Italy, Austria, France, Slovenia and Germany joined forces to examine collective living to imagine policies that will regulate collective forms of housing in the future.
This event shall open the discussion on future European housing policy. We shall adapt to the upcoming changes in the society. How is Europe planning to face an increase in the proportion of elderly people within the population and the need to conceive, design and build housing for them. If we want to adapt in time, we must become responsible and start thinking about the future now.
