The building on Kestucio 16 was designed in 1935 by the architect A. Jokimas. It is on a corner plot, and it has two stories. The area where the structure was built has an important place in the history of Kaunas since it was the textile quarters of the city. In this district, there were small- and large-scale textile factories and workshops were located. In this specific building, Berta Goldsmitiene and Janina Leonaviciute (Lietblat) had their linen workshops. The structure has a distinctive feature which is its turret with a modernised crown. The turret and the bandings on the plaster give the building a dominant emphasis at the corner. It is believed that this part might have served as an open terrace with a canopy at the time. However, at the moment, it is not in use and stays as a decorative element of the building. Under the windows of the first floor, there are also decorative ornaments in the shape of flowers. The roof of the building hides behind the parapets, giving the impression of a flat roof that enforces the modernist look of the structure.

Today, the building is still used as a residential apartment with shops on its ground floor.
