Buzesti street appeared in Bucharest several years ago as a response to the auto congestion within the center of the city. This part of the city is currently work in progress, the old urban tissue still being strongly present. As a new uptown Bucharest is expected to emerge in this area, connecting several important squares from the city, this office building done by DS architecture office tries to start the dialogue between the existing frame and the new one that is expected to appear. Therefore, the shape and materials come into play as a mediator between the surrounding buildings. The interior courtyard is a reminiscence of the typical green spaces from behind the facades of Bucharest. The building is waiting for the clients to occupy it in this new frame as new office buildings are rising in the area.
