While working as a nurse in the hospital during the First World War, Pelagija Vaiciuskiene met General Pranas Vaiciuska, who was also working there. After the war, they both moved to Kaunas, where P. Vaiciuska worked at the Kaunas City Hospital. As it was popular to spend summers in one of the resorts near Kaunas, the Vaiciuska family chose Kacergine, where they built two villas. Vaiciuskos lived in the larger villa with their son Jurgis, while the smaller villa became a summer house, rented out to summer holidaymakers, of which there were many.

P. Vaiciuskiene's villa in Kacergine was built in the 1930s on the plot of J. Janonio 41. Unfortunately, the exact date of construction is unknown. The villa opened its doors to all the hosts who visited during the warm season. The two-storey building, clad in plain brownish boards, is situated on a hillside and designed by the engineer P. Valiukenas. The second floor of the building is more like an attic floor, and it is under the roof slope. The staircase reaching the second floor is expressed as a tower at the facade. At the beginning of the Soviet era, the villa became a woodworking workshop for the pupils of the Kacergine school, later became a home for a teacher, and is currently standing quietly, awaiting the next exciting turn in history.
