Žilvinas Rinkšelis, 2019.

Regarding some buildings in Kaunas, unfortunately, it is not always possible to find much information. The building on Leliju 4 is one of those gems. It is known that the architect of the building was A. Gordevicius. However, the exact construction date is not known, nor the owners of the building. Therefore, it does not have any specific name, which is called after by the residents of Kaunas. However, it is known that a famous interwar art deco painter Konstancija Petrikaite-Tuliene lived in the flats for a while.

The building sits on a plinth, which has horizontal lines on it which are made of plaster. All the corners of the building are curved, which gives a unique impression to the structure. Furthermore, the entrance is not from the front facade but from the courtyard at the side of the house. Therefore, the building catches the eyes of passers-by from the street easily. Between the windows of the different floors, there are strips made of bricks and plastered, which gives an emphasis to the building horizontally. Furthermore, there is a small niche at the central axis of the front facade. The front facade of the building is symmetrical; however, the side facades are not. On the side facade on the north, there is the main entrance and the windows on top of it, which are up to the roof. There are four balconies on this facade which also have horizontal stripes on their balustrades. On the south side facade, one part of the building is gradually in front of the main facade, and their transition is achieved by a corner window. On the same facade, the building has small balconies with horizontal metal railings on top of its brick balustrade.
