Monika Pociūtė, 2023.

The house was built in 1929, technical supervision was conducted by Eng. J. Novickis. The owner's apartment was on the second floor, while all the other apartments were rented out.

The building is characterized by a simple, constructive, functional form and rational planning. The facades of the house are laconic and divided by windows of different widths. Also, the main facade is accentuated by a five-sided "risalit" and a balcony above it. The staircase leading to the premises of the second floor is attached to the courtyard facade.

A number of authentic details from the 1930s have been preserved in the interior of the house - wooden floors, ceilings, stairs, and working stoves. Also, later additions have been also sustained - a porch a with garage built in 1972 and a canopy above the balcony which have been installed in 1995.

The house forms an authentic character of the Zaliakalnis district. The compact two-story house is characterized by a harmonious composition and unique decor elements. The current owners of the building are fixed on preserving its authenticity.
