The plot of the current house primarily belonged to Vincas Paulauskas. The earliest found documentations show 1 room owner's cabin stood here in 1929. The plot constantly was resold and bought again to ever-changing owners, until when the wooden house was built here around by the family of Jackeviciai.

The wooden house was heated by stoves and had a city water supply. There was a board warehouse in the yard. The roof was covered with tin. The centre of the asymmetrical front facade is accentuated by the original five-walled entrance "risalit".

The wooden building is located in the territory of cultural heritage protection and has authentic architectural status.
