Zvi Hecker was born on May 31, 1931 in Krakow, Poland) is an Israeli architect with offices in Berlin and Amsterdam. Hecker immigrated to Israel from Samarkand in 1950. He studied architecture in the Israel Institute of Technology, graduating in 1955. Between 1955 and 1957, he studied painting at the Avni Institute of Art and Design. Hecker is known for the complex geometries he employs to design his buildings.
