The residential complex is based on three housing types: tower (7 floors), terraced housing (2-3 floors), and alining housing (4 floors); and four commercial building made by Ridolfi. The common unit is a slice aligning housing reachable by external stairs and common external balcony, defined as "Ballatoio Housing". In general, the housing is made of bricks and define the interior distribution with small serving spaces.

The project in its overall discover and criticizes the social value of architecture in contrast with the monumental and authoritarianism previous fascist architecture. The village dimension offers the most economical solution. (I. De Guttry, 2001).
