Valentina Pistoli was born in Korca in 1928. She was educated in architecture in Sofia University, Bulgaria were she graduated in 1952. Valentina is the first woman architect in Albania.
During her career as architect she has designed several residential complexes in Korca, Vlora, Elbasan, hotels in Kukës, Bajram Curri, Elbasan, Himare, Durrës and Kruja theatre, ect., reaching the pinnacle of success with the design of Hotel Tirana. She gave also an important contribution in education, working as part time lecturer in Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering in the Polytechnic University of Tirana.
