Qemal Butka was born in 1908 in the small village called Budke, near Kolonja. In 1927 he concluded high school in Linc, Austria and decided to follow his studies in architecture in Viena University. After concluding his studies at the age of 23 years he came back in Albania, and did different projects like schools, the national Library, Rockfeler Institute in Tirana, Mausoleum " Nena Mbretereshe" , different villas and residential buildings , ect.
