The Splugen Brau was an innovative brewery concept made by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. The furniture in Neo Liberty style (an Italian trend in furniture design after WWII which made references to Art Nouveau reminds one of old train carriages and was made up of lamps, benches, and sofas all designed by the two brothers.
In order to increase the volumes of the site, a large number of mirrors were used and the seats were placed on different levels. Unfortunately, the brewery was dismantled years later and today the site hosts a fast food restaurant.
