The conversion and general refurbishment of the building at Mayerhofgasse 11 was commissioned by the OBB Infrastruktur AG. The Grunderzeit-style building is located in Vienna's 4th district and consists of a basement, a ground floor and four floors.

In the course of the construction project, the facades will be renovated and the windows replaced. The pitched roofs in the courtyard will be fitted with skylights. In addition, all window openings will be equipped with automatic sun protection.

The 13 existing apartments will be converted into a total of 19 apartments, with minor changes to the floor plans and room divisions.

The conversion of the top floor will create approx. 1100 m2 of space for an open, light-flooded office area. This gains additional space through the construction of a gallery floor and a natural room separation is created.

In the inner courtyard, a garbage room, a covered bicycle storage area, and an arcade, which connects the two staircases via the outside area, will be added. To ensure barrier-free access, two elevators will be built, one of which is accessible via the courtyard.

Construction started in 2020, the handover was in 2021 and completion is planned for 2023.
