Clamart Children's Library, formerly La Joie par les livres, is a world-renowned children's library, founded by the association La Joie par les livres in Clamart. Under the patronage of Anne Gruner Schlumberger the library opened in 1965. The Children 's Library of Clamart is classified as a historic monument since September 3, 2009. The library consists of round rooms on one level in the middle of the high buildings of the district.
