Michail Budilovsky was born in Ukraine. He graduated from Kiev Structural Engineering Institute in 1953 and immigrated to the USA in 1977 were he became a painter. One of his most famous buildings in Kiev are the National Children Library of Ukraine (Entrance Lobby), the Physics Department of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kiev and the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kiev (Faculty of Cybernetic).
