Einszueins Archtektur was founded 2006 by Katharina Bayer and Markus Zilker. Since then studio is focusing on housing and urban planning with an emphasis on collaborative housing and planning participation. Dialogue, co-planning and participation are the basis for a sustainable, future orientated design and architecture as contributions for towns and cities worth living.
Katharina Bayer studied Architecture at the TU Vienna and TU Delft and later worked as freelancer in several architectural offices in Vienna and Amsterdam. She was teaching at the Institut fur Architektur und Entwerfen at the TU Vienna from 2008-2012. She is also a co-founder of eisvogel, Raum fur Architektur and board member of the ig architektur. Markus Zilker studied Architecture at the TU Wien and ETSA Sevilla. He is teaching Design at Nimmerrichter Kurse and is a co founder of eisvogel, Raum fur Architektur, Wohnprojekt Wien and member of the Initiative fur gemeinschaftliches Bauen und Wohnen.
