Haus Eiermann appears to be unspectacular in comparison to other projects of the Interbau in Hansaviertel. However, it is an enormously important building both for the spatial composition and for the aesthetic overall picture of the district. The house is a trench structure of concrete, erected in assembly construction. At the same time, the supporting walls are the intermediate walls of the apartment and were constructed from floor-ready, prefabricated panels, which have the same thickness from the ground floor to the roof plate. Eiermann has opened the Westfassade and inserted the loggias between the bulkheads, resulting in a regular facade grid, which is highly plastic due to the depth of the loggias.
