The sports hall is designed as one cube because it was based on a modernistic urban plan of Kidricevo by Fuerst. It also lies on a flat terrain surrounded by significantly tall pine trees one side, and an existing school on the other side. The hall functions as a sports venue as well as a characteristic open space close to a modernistic residential area. Its position and use of glass on the shorter sides of the building and non-transparent materials on the longer sides of the building create sequences of new public spaces and half-public spaces with new activities. The building is 60 meters long, 50 meters wide and 12 meters high (together with the buried part). A part of the building was buried so it aligns with the height of an existing school and kindergarten. Its black cubic non-dominating design makes it an elegant and simple addition to the educational complex of the town.
