Hotel Panorama was designed by Zdenek Rihak in An incomparable view of the High and Low Tatras and the valley in between them is afforded by the Hotel Panorama at Strbske Pleso, 1335 meters above sea level. The hotel stands adjacent to a station serving both the Tatra Electric Railway and a cog-wheel railway down to Slovakia's main railway line.
