The library shapes the edge of the central public square of Nova Gorica. Symbolically concludes the axis that binds an important reference space of two cities - historical center of Gorizia and the municipal palace in Nova Gorica. The library is placed in the urban structure of the city as a conclusion of the orthogonal planning strategy.
