The Expocenter of Ukraine is now a permanent multi-functional exhibition complex in Kyiv, that specializes in Ukrainian achievements in the sphere of industry and science and features now about 100 companies.
It was built on the site of a small suburban village called Krasny traktir and was formerly known as Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy of Ukrainian SSR. The construction began in 1952 under Boris Zhezherin and lasted six year. The Expocenter of Ukraine has been functioning since 1958.
