Takamitsu Azuma is an architect based in Tokyo. He is active in Japan since 1957. He attended the School of Architecture at the University of Osaka, from where graduated in 1957. In 1967 he opened his own studio and build his own house in Tokyo: a mini-tower six levels in concrete, built on a plot of only twenty square meters. He developed new types of houses. In 1971 was one of the founders of Architext group.
