Marjan Tepina was one of students of Joze Plecnik. He was working in the studio of Le Corbusier and later collaborated with Edvard Ravnikar. Between 1961 and 1967 was a president of the City Council of Ljubljana, and later become a director of the Urban Planning Institute of Slovenia.

Plan For Urban Development Of Ljubljana

Tepina carried out the first post-war plan for the urban development of Ljubljana, which got its present image with roads, green belts and city business centre. The plan was a basis for many business buildings such as Metalka. Although a large archeological heritage was discovered, some of the most famous buildings, such as Kozler's mansion (at the site of today's Konzorcij), have always been destroyed and replaced by modernistic architecture.
