Josef Marek (17 January 1889, Petrovice - † January 17, 1965, Brno) was a prominent figure in Slovakia interwar architecture and urbanism. His work contributed not only to the development of building culture, but also to progress in the field of urban planning, spatial organization and problems of the structure of cities.
