The architect, Howard Ragatt of the firm Ashton Raggatt McDougall designed the building for AIATSIS. Controversy surrounds this building with the claim that part of the rear of the building is a copy of pioneer architect Le Corbusier's 1920's Villa Savoye. The building cost $13.7 million.
