Sited amid architect Hans Poelzig's heritage-protected urban ensemble, L40 is a collaborative design by artist Cosima von Bonin and Roger Bundschuh, Initiated by the Association for the Promotion of Art and Culture at Rosa-Luxembourg-Platz. Its monolithic, sculptural shape is over expressed in exposed black concrete.
