By participating in the Anna Seghers School in a nationwide pilot project for the development of community schools, a new building for the classrooms of the elementary level class was indispensable. As the construction site derelict former school garden was tendered. AFF architects developed a characterful building, which follows the goal of a Community Learning Hoard and the claim of the maximum Erhaltes of trees the school garden. With varying class and group rooms, the two-storey building formed protectively around the south-facing, common schoolyard. So it defines on one side, an open space, on the other hand, it demarcates the transition from residential buildings. The varying openings offer of outdoor scenic insights into the learning and leisure areas of the children.
