The Blumenthal House by Bauhaus architect Ludwig Hilbereimer who should in his later career the director of urban planning of the city of Chicago is a masterpiece of reduction. Hilberheimer has laid the focus for this cubic structure on functionality. The building opens up on the garden front where with a combined living and dining room is located with a terrace and larger windows.
