Automotive Service Center in Moscow was designed by one of the key architects of the Soviet period, Leonid Pavlov whose architecture featured grand urban scale in the spirit of Le Corbusier. The building features a very contemporary form and looks somewhat like striving forward aircraft. The building is triangular in plan and is distinguished by flat skirt-like features pointing down. The building's triangular form and the way it is floating over the ground recall a recent building by Herzog & de Meuron in Barcelona. Today the building in Moscow is covered by advertising beyond recognition and its future fate remains in question.
