Emma was founded in 2005 by partners architects Jurg Duke and Marten de Jong. Jurg Duke leads the 'Emma Create', design and implementation arm of Emma. 'Emma Create' operates from a studio in Amsterdam with an international team of designers and engineers. Marten de Jong gives substance to 'Explore Emma', which is the independent think tank for spatial issues.
