+31 Architects was founded in 2005 by Jasper Suasso de Lima de Prado and Jorrit Houwert.

+31 Architects is a young and multidisciplinary office, operating in the field of architecture, interior design and urban planning. +31 Architects does not see it merely as their task to deepen and translate the space allocation program into a design, but also to introduce the Client to potentials which lie within their project.

Jasper Suasso de Lima de Prado

Jasper Suasso de Lima de Prado was born in 1975 in Laren, Netherlands.After graduating from Delft University of Technology in 2001, de Prado continued to work at Marc Prosman Architects, based in Amsterdam, until co-founding +31 Architects in 2005. Since 2010, de Prado has maintained an active involvement in architectural theory, as a part-time teacher at the Academy of Architecture in Amsterdam.

Jorrit Houwert

Jorrit Houwert was born in 1974 in Dornach, Switzerland.Prior to graduating from Delft University of Technology in 2001, Houwert attained experience in the field of architecture by working at Architects PT Gunawan Cipta Arsindo, Jakarta, Indonesia, as well as Neutelings Riedijk Architects, Rotterdam, Netherlands.

After graduating from TU Delft, Houwert continued his professional development at Marc Prosman Architects in Amsterdam, until co-founding +31 Architects in 2005, together with Jasper Suasso de Lima de Prado.
