


Effie Kasimati is an urban designer and editor living and working in London, UK. She graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2013). She also holds an MSc in Architectural Theory and Design, National Technical University of Athens (2015). In 2016 she got an MArch in Urban Design at the Bartlett, University College London (2016) with the project "Hacking the City | Reclaiming Subterranean London", for which she received the B-Pro silver prize. Her theoretical and design work has been featured in several architectural journals as well as conference papers and events (IEEE, DRHA Conference, Venice Biennale etc). Her current research focuses on the intersection of digital tools and fabrication methods with architecture and urbanism. Effie is also a practicing architect and urban designer, and editor of the online architectural platform Archstudies.
