Skender Kristo graduated as ingeneer-architect in the University of Graz, Austria in 1936. After the graduation he worked as architect in Ministry of "Botore" works (General Affairs) from 1937 and he practised as architect until 1976.

He took part in more than 200 architectonic projects in Albania. The work of S. K. Luarasi is incredibly diverse in terms of architectural typologies, construction technologies, urban and geographical conditions in which it took place. His work includes residential villas, complex hospital and curative tourism hotels, social and cultural facilities, administrative and industrial buildings
