Measuring two hectares, Gleisdreieck Park extends from Kreuzberg and Schoneberg till the borders of Tempelhof. Realized in two step, 2011 and 2013, the project presents no decoration, urban spaces are formed, unfolding their full potential through fine details, sensual materials and vegetation. For instance, the original vegetation was widely left untouched, only some paths were added. The atmosphere of the areas is strongly characterized by the railway relics left in their place and the wild-growing vegetation. Leftover railway tracks were partly filled with bark mulch.
