Vikas Chand Sharma is an assistant professor at Chandigarh University and practising architect from India. He has completed his B.Arch degree (2011) and M.Arch degree (2016) from I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University. He writes on urban design and architecture.
Teaching and Writing
He teaches Architectural drawing, Research methodology, Architectural Conservation and Urban Design to B.Arch students. His research work on "Reviving Contemporary Urban Design: Case of Historic City Sultanpur Lodhi, Punjab" was published with Journal of Architecture and Urbanism, by Vilnius Gediminas Technical University Press, Lithuania (2018).
Consultation & Services
He is involved in Architectural Practice at Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. His architectural practise covers houses, apartments, restaurant and resort. He had presented DPR on "Development approach road from hall gate to the golden temple" a project initiated by Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board (2013) and designed a Rotary Intersection at Chandigarh-Mullanpur and Dhanas Road.
