Stefan Giers is an architect and city planner who is based in Munich, Germany. After studying at the Universitat Innsbruck, Austria and the Universitat Darmstadt, Giers worked for Herzog & de Meuron in Basel.
Giers won a competition in 2007 to design a landmark viewing platform at the Lusatian Lakeland halfway between Berlin and Dresden.
