
Peter P. Schweger


Peter Paul Schweger was born in Hungary in 1935. He studied at the Technical University Budapest and the ETH Zurich where he graduated in 1959.
Thereafter he worked for several architecture practices in Zurich. After winning a competition for the design of a school in Hamburg, he moved there and cooperated with the Hamburg architect Heinz Graaf. In 1968 they formed a partnership which continued until Graaf's death in 1980. In 1987 Scheger changed the name of the practice into Schweger + Partner and in 2008 to Schweger Associates Architects. From 1972 to 2000 he was also a professor for construction an design at the University Hannover.
