Gilbert Wilk is a German architect born in Dortmund in 1966. He was originally trained as a carpenter. Later he studied architecture at the RWTH Aachen. After completing his studies in 1996 he worked in several architecture practices in Spain and Germany before founding his own studio in partnership with Spanish architect Ana Salinas in 2004 in Berlin.
