Modern Western education regards architectural practice as a research process in which the unknown result is determined from a set of known facts. Whereas modern Chinese architecture practice regards architecture as a design in which the form is determined by being given a set of design conditions. Approach Architecture is trying to integrate these two together. On one hand, architecture is a deductive process; on the other hand, it is a process of reverse actions, that is, it works backwards from the desired result to identify the basics. When the two processes meet at a middle point, we can say the work is finished.
