Luciano Semerani, 2005

Luciano Semerani born in Trieste on 1933, he studied at IAUV, Venice, where he received his degree with Giuseppe Samona on 1958. Architect and professor, he founded his office semeranietamaro architects, on 1958, with his partner Gigetta Tamaro in Trieste, on meanwhile he was teaching at IUAV and UniTs. As an architect, he participated in different Italian and international competitions, exhibitions, texts, and conferences about the theory and analysis of urban projects. Parallel to the practice, also, he was editor in "Casabella-Continuita" (with Ernesto Nathan Rogers as director), "Controspazio", and other magazines. Director of "Fondazione Angelo Masieri", the "Phalaris" magazine, and Rogers Station cultural spot in Trieste.
