About Change this

Clotilde and Bernard Barto are two French architects from the Loire region. Bernard Barto (born March 39th 1937 à in Nantes) graduated at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Nantes, painting section in 1959 and continued his studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris from 1962 to 1964. He has been teaching at the Ecole d'architecture de Nantes since 1977. His wife Clotilde Barto (born November 23rd 1948 in Nantes) and has a degree in psychopathology (1980). Bernard Barto who was originally a painter and a sculptor started to practice architecture in the 1970s. He founded the practice Barto + Barto together with his wife in 1975.
