The Swedish Pavilion for the World Expo 1939 in New York,occupied an area of 5,000 m2, 10 times higher than initially planned. In the courtyard there was a pond with an original source of Orrefors crystal built with 7.5 tons of glass. There were birch, shrubs and flowers dazzling and tempting 250 comfortable chairs in the summer heat.
