The settlement was laid out in the form of a residential courtyard open to the south and built as a low-rise building. After completion, the individual houses were handed over to the settlers, who were members of the settlement cooperative of the Reich Association of War Invalids, War Participants and War Survivors. The takeover is part of homestead law. The necessary equity capital is raised by capitalizing the state war invalids' pension.
