Zoran Lazovic is a Serbian architect born in London, United Kingdom in 1954. He studied and graduated architecture on Belgrade Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade (1979). Post graduate studies also in Belgrade (1986), Copenhagen (Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Architecture, 1988) and Paris (EA Belleville, 1993). An Architect-researcher in Institute IMS, Belgrade (1980-1989), assistant on the Faculty of Architecture, Belgrade (1989-92), worked in Cvejic, Domela, Sarfati cabinets (1992-1997) and freelance architect in Paris (1997-2000). He is a practicing architect and professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade since 2000.

Author of the Master plan and the blocks of apartments in Vozdovac, Belgrade (2014), landscape and urban design of Savograd, New Belgrade (2010), single family houses, villas in Belgrade and reconstruction and extension of family house complex in West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA (1994-2008), hotel in Belgrade, country house in Pale, Sarajevo, Master plans of residential districts and different types of low rise housing in the system GIMS in Leskovac, Bajina Basta, Serbia and Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (1983-1992), business and residential building in Ivanjica (1985). Creator of the idea of the Generative housing building system GIMS (1982-84) and experimental house in Zajecar (1983).

Author of the books and editions: The Historical Determinants of Belgrade and Sava Amphitheater (2003); Belgrade: Culture and the City (2008); Ville d'Espoir (2008); Authorial Position in Architectural Design 1 - 3 (2011-2012). Curator of Serbia: New Efforts at the International Exhibition of Architecture in Venice (2006); author of exhibitions - Serbian 20th Century Architecture in Paris (2007); New Serbian Architecture in Praha (2007); and The New Serbian Architecture - in the exhibition of Architecture in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia on the Beginning of the 21st Century, Belgrade (2008). Solo exhibition in Maison des Architectes Paris (1997), and art exhibitions in Paris, Aubergenville, France (1997), Anvers, Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium (1993), and all the capital cities of former Yugoslav republics. AA - Architectural Alchemy membership from 2010. Also involved in science research projects, architectural competitions, producing concepts of urbanistic and architectural ideas and paper architecture, drawing, painting, writing, critics, architecture and art exhibitions, editor of books and journals. Awarded on Salons of architecture and urbanism in Serbia by Grand Prix and other awards.
