Nils Meyer

Nils Meyer is an architect and conservator of historical monuments. He studied architecture at the Technische Universitat in Berlin, focusing on design, building history and the preservation of historical monuments. Among others he studied under Professor Jan Pieper and graduated in 1994. From 1999-2005 he was teaching fellow at the Technische Universitat in Dresden, assisting Professor Thomas Will, who held the chair for the preservation of historical monuments and design.

Nils Meyer gained his doctorate from the Technische Universitat in Dresden in 2007 with his thesis "Empty Spaces. Monuments as Sources of Inspiration, as Shown by the Palaces and Stately Homes of Brandenburg." As a partner in Veauthier Meyer Architects in Berlin from 2006-2014, Nils Meyer oversaw a wide variety of complex architectural projects. Since 2015, Dr Nils Meyer has been territory evaluator with Schleswig-Holstein's Office for the Preservation of Monuments.
