Manuel Graca Dias was born in Lisbon in 1953. Graduated in Architecture from ESBAL in 1977. He was an assistant at the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon and is currently Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto and the Department of Architecture of the Autonomous University of Lisbon.
Created in 1990, the Contemporary studio with Egas Jose Vieira. Received an Honorable Mention VALMOR (1983), with a house that recovered in 1979 in Grace, in Lisbon, in association with Miguel Antonio Marques, among many awards has also obtained the 1st place in the contest for the Pavilion of Portugal in Expo'92, in Seville, and the tender for the construction of the new headquarters of the Portuguese Association of Architects / Baths S. Paulo, in Lisbon in 1991, both in collaboration with Egas Jose Vieira.
