Laurie Chetwood

London, United Kingdom
1 of 1

Laurie's philosophy is based on a non-formulaic approach to design, often taking precedent from nature and utilizing psychological profiling as an essential part of the brief-making process. His work combines the practicalities of everyday living with the emotional ingredients that make a complete design solution.

Architectural Practice of the Year 2001, shortlisted for the Stirling Prize in 2000, the Manser Medal and the Royal Fine Art Commission's Building of the Year in 2004.

Exhibited at the V&A's Zoomorphic Design and Living Architecture and the Royal Academy, winning Best Architectural Drawing 2005. Three Gold Medals for ground breaking show gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
