Hopkins Architects was founded by Sir Michael Hopkins in 1976. Together with a team of six Senior Partners, they have completed projects throughout the world.

The practice is organised with Design Teams, which are formed to take a new project from inception to completion and ensure continuity of brief and design intent. These teams collaborate with engineers, cost-control consultants and other specialists.

By maintaining adaptability throughout the design and construction process the firm have worked with varied clients ranging from individuals to city councils to Boards of Trustees to developers. The main office is in Marylebone, London which houses a team of approximately 70 architects and staff. In addition, there are offices in Dubai and they have a presence in China and Germany.
