


Boris Cipan (1918-2012) was a Macedonian architect who was a prominent figure in the periode of the Macedonian modern architecture after the Second World War.
His best-known work is the building of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, for which he received the most prestigious architecture prize that the Borba newspaper awarded annually for the greatest architectural achievement in Yugoslavia.
He worked on the renewal of the church of Hagia Sophia in 1952, the conservation of the church of St. Panteleimon in Skopje Nerezi and other important cultural monuments .
