Cinema October is one of the largest and most important cinemas in Moscow and is located in the new Arbat street. It was constructed by Mikhail Posokhin, Ashot Mndoyants and V. Svirsky and opened in 1967.

Striking are the mosaics on the facade. The cinema is now a Multiplex Cinema and hosts the Moscow International Film Festival.
